I've cleared all temporary files, cleaned the registry, de-fragmented and I've got the latest Adobe Flash installed. All the Windows updates are in place.

Can't run any videos off the net - Youtube, iPlayer, BBC News etc. I just get "will not run"-type error messages.

Short of taking it in and paying a fortune for the local shop to "look" at it, I'm stumped.

Any theories? 🙁

new firewall / security ?

Flashdanceer / script blocker / proxy ?

May need to escalate to "off and back on", but I'm not qualified to talk anyone through that
