Time to upgrade my battered iPhone 4s, can't decide between 6, galaxy note 6, htc 9 or a Sony Experi z3. My main requirement is tough, fast ish processor and a battery that lasts longer than my current phones 6 hours. Any advice appreciated.
All those should fit the bill. Form factor is going to be important. Hold them, see who you like the feel of them.
I've dropped my HTC 8 down the bog, grabbed it out of the water quickly, it's been fine.
edit: just noticed you are also considering the iPhone 6. You understand the difference between an iPhone and an Android phone will be fairly significant? If you've not tried Android before, have a play with a few of them.
Motorola Moto G .. cheap and does all of the above. Can download iSync and will take everything off itunes and put it straight onto your Android phone too! £14.50 from Tesco..bing bang bosh bargain.
I'd have thought the obvious path is iPhone 6, as you already have an investment in the ecosystem.
The battery is much better in the bigger phones, the camera is superb, and the processor as fast as you could want.
Put a tempered glass screen protector on the front, and a decent silicon protector on the back, and your good to go.
Glass screen protectors are dead cheap, around a fiver, and make a big difference, no air bubbles underneath, and very slippery to use.
The iPhone 6 is an impressive jump forward and will be massive from the 4S.
Yeah no there is a fair difference between the iPhone / android. I do like the iPhone but the battery drives me mad.
Personally used an android for 2 weeks - personally hated it and couldnt get on with it but Mrs Fla thinks it is the greatest thing since sliced bread - so go and have a play
It comes down more to the ecosystem than the device..these days there are plenty of great slabs of glass that will meet your needs. Personally I like the iPhone 6. Some nice developments on Windows devices also...
I have an Xperia z2 best phone I've owned. If I changed it the z3 would be the 1st phone I'd look at.
I carry a spare battery for my Samsung s3 in my wallet. Choose the phone you can swap the battery on.

How very quaint.
I've been on the iphone programme since a 3gs,but jumped to a s6 edge & wow !,speed battery life ease of use etc are all way better than an iphone 6 ,imao ..
