As I now have a phone with no headphone socket I'd like to get some wireless headphones. I don't like the in-ear type so I'm looking for advice on a good set of over ear headphones in either wifi or BT flavour. I'm looking for good battery life as well as decent sound quality, but not particularly expensive as I'll probably need 2 pairs.

Marshall ones get positive reviews.

Not sure of your budget, but shop around, and a pair can be close to £100

Edit - linked to wrong pair

Here's a brown pair on Amazon for less than £100:

AKG Y50BT can be found for under £100 and last a genuine 20hrs +, comfy enough for extended listening and not too large or garish.

I've got the AKG Y50BTs and I'm quite impressed with them. As somafunk says the battery life is very good, I do find the fit on the firm side myself, but still fine for a couple of hours. Better described as on-ear rather than over-ear if that's a distinction you care about. Sound isolation (both ways) is still pretty good though.

These headphones are the non-branded version of these well reviewed Lindy BNX-60s. I have them and they have decent sound quality and also good battery life. They can get your ears pretty hot after a prolonged period (say 2hrs or so)

AKG here as well, can't fault them, particularly good battery life. They came top in a Which HiFI report a while back as well.

+1 for Marshalls.
Well over 30 hours run time from my Major II’s.

Well off the back of you lot I’ve just taken delivery of brand spanking new pair of the AKG Y50BT from fleabay for just under £50.

First play was, obvz, She Sells Sanctuary (Long Version).

I nearly fell off my chair, what a sound, so much detail, such depth and power. Truly a moment of audio bliss.

Ta STW.

I got these JBL ones, there not bad for the price and plenty good enough for my ears. 15 hours battery from a 2 hour charge.
