Got a week booked in a cottage down in Hawkesbury Upton which I think is south cotswolds. I'll have the wife and dog in tow too but I'm hoping to take the bike too. Any ideas on local attractions or any riding down this area?

Lots of walks around there, not too far from Bath, Bristol, Cirencester, Castle Combe...
Fantastic views across the Severn towards Wales, too

There's some nice pubs up there (Beaufort Arms I think), ideal for road riding and Westonbirt National Arboretum is up that way.

There's a tower in the village which I think is open to the public, a folly built by a local landowner, which you get a fantastic view from.
