Admit it - you've been reading about that on the Daily Mail website for weeks. But had to find alternative links to link to! 🙂

What an absolute bellend.

Bloke reeks of exceptionalism - planning permission is for the great unwashed.

Seems crazy. If I was that rich in the first instance, I'd have a larger stand alone plot for the main house.

Then to spend the money he has building that in such a space is nuts.

There's no doubting that most (guys at least) people would love such a place to call their own but, to do it like he has suggests something isn't quite right with the chaps mindset.

If I were the council I'd let him keep it, on the proviso he gives the public free access during set times - it would be bulldozed quicker than it went up. 😂

A "millionaire accountant" with tax bills in the thousands? Nice.

Looks like one of those tatty "sports centres" with a couple of banged up Novas out the front with bean can exhausts, suspension on the bump stops and 5 spotty chavs in each one.

It is in Cinderford so that's quite likely.

I was going to say that. I'm surprised the neighbours haven't taken direct action 😉

The bit that REALLY struck me was him telling the court 'he didn't have the funds to knock it down while, AT THE SAME TIME, building a swimming pool'!

He doesn't seem to display many of the qualities that make a good accountant.

Nine years waiting for enforcement action, though. Poor neighbours.

He has lined his cars upm outside now. To keep the diggers away? Neighbours are not impressed about having. their drives blocked. He has been fighting this for years. Bit like Putin is Wildin, he'll go down fighting. Gives us Foresters something to smile about though.

I can’t help thinking he might have some sort of mental health issue. First he says it’s for his family, then it’s a business expensive and argues he will have to sack 40 people if it shuts (do they work there??).
It’s also not very good, looks like the inside of a flat roof pub at best so it’s either been done on the cheap or he has very bad taste (or not as much money as he is trying to make people believe).
And there’s no one else in the pictures.
And the location is odd. Is it hemmed in by other houses? And is the house in front that fairly mundane bungalow? Which doesn’t look like a millionaires house.

I just don’t get his angle. Is he divorced and finding it difficult to cope? Or single and no friends to say “errr mate what are you doing?”.

What an absolute bell end. There'd be a lot of classic cars with expanding foam up the exhaust pipes tonight if I lived in that street.

Here's the same guy attacking a neighbours fence (still in the suit). Not a nice guy.

I wonder if he even has enough mates left to fill the place?
Apparently his partner left him last year, and i reckon half of the council that are telling him to tear it down are in the rotary club. And the other half are in the golf club.

He's a dick.
When he completes his short sentence he still has to remove his illegal construction.
Titter...

You would think with all of that money he could buy a better fitting suit.
