A similar idea which I suspect might work rather better

freedom to ride on uneven paths

sounds like a 27.5 marketing phrase.

It's a ****ing stupid idea, just like any other attempt to add suspension to a wheel.

Is it enduro compatible?

Going by the jogger and tunnel, I'm not sure who they're trying to market it to...

#limpwheel #flaccidwheel

But have to give credit for any attempt at innovation

Physics of the suspension aspect aside,

Regular spokes don't just attach the rim to the hub, they provide structural support to the wheel, no? So what's to stop the wheel from deforming or even collapsing the first time there's a large impact?

Extra strength in the rim, presumably - which is also needed with conventional low spoke count wheels.

I like their guts and innovation but I can't help feeling that flexibility in wheels is the worst thing ever you could want.
