Looking at new pressure washers to clean the bike and they seem to be the cheapest. But is it a case of buy cheap buy twice? Or are they okay?
I have one of their older models, probably 10 or 12 years old now and it is fine. Gets used once a year for the decking, patio and some cladding.
I've never used it on the bike and not sure I would but I'll leave that one up to you.
Is it an actual pressure washer or a 12v dirtworker type washer? Pressure washer and bearings is a no no for me.
Doesn't look too different to the Muc-off one (which is good and the bike-specific hose really is great - my garden hose has more pressure than the bike-specific hose does).
If so, then that will probably be ok, but it is cheap, so may not last as long as more expensive kit (which may be the same stuff but with a higher price tag on it!).
Yeah I've got one and it's bang on. I bought it to blast 10 years of scum from a double driveway and backyard so I got it and ran it flat out for hours on end with no issues.
I was fully prepared to return it if it burned out but it's a keeper. I probably won't work it that hard ever again so it's great for the car and bikes.
I bought the cheaper one with no accessories.
Yes it’s that one DickB. And I’m in the camp of using pressure washers for the mtb, sure they might wear out parts and bearings 12% faster than hand washing but my bikes are so filthy from the trails at the moment. I’ve come to think Life is too short to be washing bikes with a bucket and brush.
