Could be a classic, I like Groves but haven’t a clue who will win this one.

I shall hopefully be watching on a shady stream in a bar in Tenerife. Eubank for me.

Really hard one to pick - Groves hopefully, because he hasn't got an annoying dad who won't **** off out of the boxing scene.

Should be good, really peed off I can't watch it live! Got a visitor who wouldn't appreciate it.

Still, saves me £16 anyway.

"Groves Eubank Jr"

Someone is going to open the thread expecting some old bluesman to have died 😉

Heart says Groves ...head says Eubank ..short of the fact that none of my mates live close enough to come around and watch it ..I don't think I have ever paid to watch a boxing match ..too much of a tight arse to pay that much for something that could be over in 30 seconds !

Mmmm...

For some reason my head says Eubank Jr but my heart would like Groves to win.

No real reason for this, apart from I'm thinking that Groves is currently classified as a bit of an underdog...

It will be interesting 'though, Groves experience and being probably a bit bigger v Eubank Jr's workrate.

If Groves boxes like he did in the last fight I'd say Groves. Same as above heart Groves, head Eubank. I think Eubank will want to go long

Would love to see Groves win it, but Eubank is wicked fast. If he tires, I could see Groves catch him late on but I think Eubank will win on points.

I read the thread title as Gove vs eubank.

Now that's a fight I'd pay to see.

It was only 3 years a go that he lost against a fat light-middleweight  (at middleweight) ... and he hasn't fought anyone of note since ... Abrams was old and after a pay day.

And whilst Eubank looks a monster on the little clips he puts on instagram, and he has been carefully matched to stop his opponent, he really doesn`t appear to be a big hitter.

Groves aint no great shakes, but he gave Froch solid performances; and I see him being just too solid all around for Eubank. I wouldnt be surprised to see Eubank unravel after the first solid punch Groves lands ... he has been very very carefully matched - I just don`t see him having had enough solid tests since Saunders to have learnt enough to improve.

ding ding.. any last minute thoughts? Groves weighted in light. I think he wants to move around and counter. Also I assume he's been working on seeing through 12 rounds at pace. Cant waiot for teh bell at 10:30

Yes - all the hype as really sold this. Was funny to read Froch is still as bitter as ever about Groves.

" if you don't stop Chris Eubank Jr you don't win on points" ... ummm? and how did BJS beat Jr?

The big questions will be answered tonight: is Groves as shop worn as Eubank snr is hoping ... is Eubank jr better than he has shown to date ??

George Groves, watched it and he seemed the better boxer.

Looks like the same blueprint that Saunders used. Has Eubank Jnr made much progress since that fight? In fight adjustments? Groves played a blinder.

Amazed how many so called experts made eubanks jr favourite, but I guess hype always works and they are good at it,jr is tough and fit as hell though, billy joe saunders pretty much nailed it in his prediction of the fight, guess because he did it himself.
