I think I need a graphic tablet as I need to draw on photos.

Anything else out there I should be looking at?
Wacom are pretty much the go-to people for graphics tablets, and they do quite a range. Never actually used one myself, when I was doing photo-retouching, they were pretty pricey, and I don't think they were as sophisticated ten years ago as they are now.
This little article might help you a bit, but I don't think you can go very far wrong with that Wacom Bamboo.

I've got the older model of that. I didn't really get on with it. It's the only tablet I've used so I can't say if the problem is that it's only a cheap one, tablets in general or me.

I have the above, although I've had it a while I've only just really started to use it. I've nothing to compare it to but it's really nice to use once you've got used to using a tablet which isn't always easy if you're used to mousework. I found learning to hover to move the cursor around without pressing on the tablet really difficult.
I still prefer a mouse for some work but like the tablet for freehand drawing/sketching
Cheers chaps, already read the article CountZero, thanks.
I'm not looking for something super accurate, just something I can add sketches to photos and plans.
I've tried a couple of apps on my Galaxy S2, without success, so this is upping the quality a bit.
Looks like I'll give it a bash.
Thanks.
I've got the "pen and touch" version of the bamboo tablet. Its the larger one of the two, and you can use it as effectively as a giant touch-pad with your fingers as well as drawing with the pen (I don't think they all have that, I may be wrong though!).
If you plan on doing some proper drawings, renderings etc i'd say it's worth getting the bigger one. Both great tablets though!
If you keep an eye out on ebay you can get the wireless accessory cheap- means I can plug the laptop into the tele, and relax on the sofa using the tablet as a big remote 😀
