Been having some problems viewing some stuff i recorded tonight.

Get this message "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." Quicktime and VLC wont play the files either - I can see the files on the card and the size of them is what i would expect for video.

Does it sound like a memory card issue? Ive only used the card once before and it was working fine then although it was a series of short clips under a minute i was doing then whereas tonight it was longer ones. If it is the card what would you recommend to replace it?

Have you tried direct into a tv USB port and playing through that?
Is you memory card class 10 or above?

Sounds like a corrupted file maybe? Do you have any editing software? Maybe try the stuff bundled with the gopro (cineform) to see if that works. Is this the first time it's happened or the first go with the go pro?
