Going for a walk and a pub lunch.

Atmosphere.
Good food.
Veggie friendy.

Any ideas?

Also, is anywhere a bit crap and should be avoided?

I'm not tying to be inflammatory or rude or nothing but is KL the gay capital of Cumbria?

Every time I've been through there there seems to always be twee men wondering about in pairs...

They have a great bakers there (or they did about 5 years ago, on the main street) used to make a detour for it special like.

there's a brilliant butty van at Devil's Bridge. Even more ace if you like motorbikes.

So what. I'm after lunch, not mano-a-mano romance.

Red Dragon Inn on Main Street. I've eaten in Avanti once before as well which was very nice but towards the pricier end.

KL isn't in Cumbria? I googled and everything!

Harry: no offence meant mate, I like KL. I liked the Inglesport cafe as well, but it was after climbing (and about 10 years ago).

Harry: no offence meant mate,

None taken. ๐Ÿ˜€ It was just the oddest answer to a straight forward question. I asked for a pub and you offered me some hot lovin'.

Apologies metalhart & HtS

Whoop Hall between KL and Ingleton isn't too shabby - had my wedding reception there.

Ah Geoff, not for the first time tonight I've not read things probably and am an idiot. I must admit after posting I thought, Inglesport isn't in KL... Duh. Is it still called the climbing barn? Went to a couple place around there and liked this best.

Harry: you got me wrong, I'm not that kind of gal. I admit it was a strange post though. The thing is, the ex and me both came away with the same impression of KL, which is why I couldn't resist. And I do really like KL. ๐Ÿ˜€

Guess I'm still an idiot though...

Hope you have a good lunch. You'll need to post up and let us know how it went!

I've always had good food at the Snooty Fox. Not sure how they do for the fussy eaters (vegies) though....

Update.

Food - Avanti - excellent

Gay Scene - Not overly apparent, but it was a bit chilly.
