Any recommendations for good maths web sites where my girls (years 6 and 8) can go over topics (preferably in video format) and practice what they've learnt? Kahn Academy may be a little advanced for them right now.
The BBC "Bitesize" site is pretty good. http://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/
If you want to spend money then (other than price) I've never heard anything bad about "mathletics"
Possibly worth asking your kids teacher as they may have sites / tools they use that are directly relevant to what they are teaching...
your daughter's school might have passwords for MyMaths.co.uk, if so it's a great place for all levels
Second My Maths brilliant place. Look forward to the kids homework so that I can refresh!
Mathletics is good for kids
Actually, eldest daughter's school uses My Maths - I just thought that the younger daughters couldn't use it as it logged all access. Will look into it.
