[b]Carcassonne[/b] - just as I start to tire of it, I discover a new tactic! The IPhone/Ipod/Android app version is also excellent

[b]Forbidden Island[/b] - the best cooperative game I've played

[b]Bohnanza[/b] - card/trading game, aslo works in the pub but can get noisy

[b]Perudo[/b] - aka Liar Dice as per Pirates of the Caribean Dead Man's Chest - get very noisy indeed!

There's a whole series of "Zoch Chickens" dice and tile games that work well in the pub. My favourite is "[b]Heckmeck[/b] Am Bratwurmeck"

Cheap Ass! How about Save Doctor Lucky?

The makers of Kill Doctor Lucky also made a game called Vegas which was brilliant, but no longer available from them. Sort of not unlike monopoly but with added poker and other casino games, what makes it better than Monopoly, apart from there being more to do, is that it plays out in a shorter time and everyone plays to the end. They reworked it and licensed it to Mayfair as [url= http://www.mayfairgames.com/game.php?id=341 ]Lords of Vegas[/url]

EDIT: Blimey - just looked on ebay to see if any of the old versions of Vegas are still kicking around - the change hands for £60 odd, not bad for a game that cost about £3 and fits in a A5 envelope. I'll have to dig my copy out

Pandemic - possibly the best co-op game I have ever played. I cannot explain how hard/awesome this game is

Bridge is the supreme card game for 4 adults, old school though and you can't pick it up just like that. Deep, deep game, but can be played v lightly for a laugh between mates.
Hearts is a good alternative if you can't be arsed with bridge - v funny with a few bevvies trying to stick the QS onto someone / shoot the moon etc.
