Is not a good idea, all my friends back home for xmas so went for s few drinks...

Currently sat at home with a kebab having pretty much lost my voice (my job is to talk on the phone) and need to be in work in 6 hours.

Don't do it kids!

I prefer gastric flu as an excuse, no one wants to know about your diarrhea.

Amateur.

Go for a super strong quadruple espresso on the way in. It'll either perk you up perfectly, or give you the sweats that'll enable you to play the going down with something card, and go home.

Ah, but I met my wife whilst out on a school night - a Wednesday IIRC. Don't be too quick to jump ship, you never know what might happen ๐Ÿ˜‰

You're in need of practice that's all.

Every Wednesday night ride is on a school night, always dehydrate at the pub afterwards.

Just opened the bucks fizz here prior to office Christmas lunch....

Well I made it!

8 hours at work, Christmas team meal today so going to pub for lunch and having a massive burger and onion rings helped!

You had a few sherbets, bought a kebab and went to work 6 hours later.

Streuth, that's hard core.

I don't claim to be hardcore, I have 2 small kids so rarely drink anymore so doesn't take much to get me merry.

Was just a drunken moment of clarity ๐Ÿ˜‰

I've reached a stage where I'm such a lightweight that five pints can ruin me for days.

I'd need 16hrs to recover.

I miss being young at times. Usually when hungover.

It's not necessarily about being young.. it's about keeping your hand in, like so many things in life

I don't think it is age related, I'm only 23! Just have no tolerance for it because I hardly drink anymore. When I was 18 I drank more in a night than I do in a year now. Plus going out with mates who have spent the last few years in uni training their livers doesn't help.

I never go out before a day off.

Might as well work through the pain and not have it ruin my free time.
