'go anywhere' train...
 

[Closed] 'go anywhere' train ticket site - does it exist?

im thinking along the lines of a 'train' version of skyscanner..... put in your station, select 'anywhere', and see what it brings up. cheapo tickets to visit places youd never have considered before, just for a jolly.

does such a site exist? i havent managaged to find one yet but im sure if it does exist, someone on here will know about it....

aye, bit better than what i expected, but still hampered by only listing specific routes. my station only has 1 available destination for instance.

thanks tho, still worth a look if we fancy a trip to london some time.

Depending on what you are wanting to do and over what timescale, have you considered an Interrail pass?

cant see anywhere to just put 'uk' or 'anywhere' or whatever, its asking for a destination?

Yes sorry it doesn't do that I don't think. The very stop start station by station nature of rail travel and absence of specified ticket guaranteeing a seat apart from reservations, might mean such a website isn't required or practical? Seat61 is the best next bet as gives details of country by country travel then maybe the one I suggested for the different legs?
