God no. I don’t think I have ever hated a type of music more than whatever that noise is he makes.

Didn’t manage to get a ticket for next year but I’d rather go see him than Kanye West - I gave up on that set after about 15 minutes. At the end of the day you don’t go to Glastonbury to see all your favourite bands, you go too see new bands and open your ears to different genres.

Stormzy’s alright. But Ghetts FTW.

I thought this was a thread about the worst experiences of wet Glasto festivals. Is disappoint.

It’s not really a surprise, not really my thing but from what I’ve seen/heard it will probably go down well.

who cares if you don’t like it, plenty else to do, last time I went I did not see a single headliner on the pyramid or other stage.

didn’t get tickets. Baaa!

I think he's great.

Aren't we past this whole Glastonbury = Rock Music thing?

Although, I was about to make a glib comment about how young people aren't really into Rock music at the moment, but it seems the average age of Glastonbury goers is 39, so many they could have rolled out Foo Fighters for another go.

I'd love to go again, it's been a mere 18 years since I last did.

@p-jay - you should do it. I went for the first time in 1999 then life got in the way. Went again in 2015 and loved it - got almost to the front for FatM and got right at the front centre for The Who. Got tickets for the following year but had to give them up due to other commitments then not managed to get them in the two following years despite my best efforts.

@johndoh I am very tempted, I always forget to register and the price makes me wince! I'm used to paying £20 for someone to stamp my hand with invisible ink or jumping the old 'small' fence, which was anything but when you're jumping from the top of it, I'd break my hip these days ha ha.

There was a fair bit of grime at another festival I saw on telly....

They are totally bangin live! The mosh pit was enormous. I'm afraid most of us are far too old for that shit, even if we do listen to the music, like what I does.

I mean, wouldn't you want to be young enough to get stuck in to this? Apart from the ****s with their mobiles in the air (I'm too ****ing old for that, that's for sure), doesn't this look like proper fun!
