Not the ones that are in my house*, the ones on BBC tonight.

*A wooden spoon launched itself across the kitchen the other week.

It’s the Horrible Histories lot, escaped from kids’ tv

When I saw this advertised last week the first thing I thought was Rent a Ghost 🙂

I saw a few minutes of this last night and wondered if the channel was Cbeebies+5, so Horrible Histories source is explained.
Is OP R Dean Taylor ?

Not totally convinced, but enough silly giggles moments to get me watching more of them.

If you like their other 'adult' stuff (basically Yonderland) then you'll like Ghosts.

I chuckled a few times. Will keep the series link on.
I bet Horrible Histories finished and they had a load of costumes going spare... "I know..." 🙂

Yep, popular in our house... light-hearted comedy, no complaints here

I liked the Shakespeare film they did 'Bill'. Tres amusant.

I thought it was good, although I'm a HH fan so I'm target market. I imagine this first episode will set up a lot of other jokes

Didn't they do Quacks too? That was funny.

All filmed at West Horsley Place, just down from the Staple Lane climb on the Ride London 100 route.
Strange to see part of my commute on the telly!

Inoffensive background telly - hope it livens up a little or it really should be on CBBC

I was going to let my lad watch it, then there was the reference to the all-male threesome and the little girl with the plague, so he won't be watching it just yet.

Forgot this was on - will have to iPlayer it.

They also did the criminally overlooked Bill.

I'm really enjoying this! Some really funny moments - like leaving the house for a poo - the sort of thing I would do! 😀
And the scoutmaster's back story was superb.

The bit with the builders was chringeworthy (but in a good way), like watching Basil Fawlty getting into more and more of a mess.

Robin the caveman cracks me up.

2 and especially 3 were a big improvement I've just watched them and may continue after 3.
