Not been properly steaming drunk since I came to Scotland. All the locals seem to want to turn in early whenever we go out, I'm really starting to doubt the drinking stereotype and revise it with a lightweight one :).

9 of us stayed at a pub in Innerleithen for 2 nights last weekend and whilst the bar bill was a bit on the mahooosive side none of us missed the next days ride.

Try harder is the message there for next year.

There is no greater pleasure than a ride with the boys and a couple after..

There are often consequences and there will follow a few choice examples...

I don't get wasted that often. When I get together with my old uni house mates we tend to get lashed and forgot the night before with only credit card receipts to remind us. Drinking socially with other mates I tend to just get merry. Saying that got an office do on Thursday... Director has just given us the Friday off as he said 'we're useless on Fridays so hungover we would be a waste of heating'!

I don't see the point, and never have been badly drunked.

I'm another vote for the merry stage but a definite sensible head when it comes to the absolutey blootered stage. I get bad beer blues and just hate the thought of wasting a day or three with a monster hangover.

no. steaming drunk is not a good place to be

listen to the lyrics:

well last week we all got really smashed
couldn't stand up, what a real laugh
this week's gonna be just the same
and the next and the next again and again
