My wife's mini has polish on the wheel arches. They're black textured plastic. Back to black or similar is ok for a while but when it wears off the arches look grey. What can I use to get to off?
Thanks,
Dan
Baby oil.
Trust me it'll clean the plastic right up.
Smooth peanut butter works well.
an eraser
Pencil eraser is good for getting polish off, then wipe the rubber residue off.
+1 Eraser and a hairdryer to bring it up like new!
Baby oil.Trust me it'll clean the plastic right up.
Dare i ask how you know this?
**** me - you people are animals ! (craigxxl and esp Drac)
Cheers. Will try the eraser (not the baby oil or peanut butter!). Sounds like hard work - there's a lot of plastic!

I was young I needed the money.
Try scrubbing the plastics with washing up with a stiff bush in the grain. Usually nothing will cover the hard plastics for a long term thing. I used to use Poorboys plastic reviver, but would last about 3 weeks and wash out. UV affects them as well.

That C4 restorer is good stuff , have tried Peanut butter in the past with so so results, Raw linseed oil works well too.
Jam. Lots of jam.
