One of my better efforts. Just cropped the JPG - didn't bother tweaking the RAW. Still experimenting with exposure.

Nice shot jwr, was that taken with a lens or through a scope?

@Tijuana Taxi: 211 images shot through a 9.25" scope. The full image is a 1.2GB monster.

Can you take some more general pics and post them up next to kit lens shots of the same scene, so we can boggle?

You can come 'round tomorrow and sort the garden out if you like.

5200mm effective. Must be the longest available. And only £269. So tempted!
