Random one-we’ve got a 2 centre summer holiday coming up and I’d love to take my bike but would need to leave it at, ideally, geneva airport for 7 days. They have luggage lockers but does anyone know if there’s a more freestyle luggage storage ?
I’ve not seen anything that would be big enough for a bike.
There maybe a bike hotel just behind the train station in central geneva. I know you can park a bike for a day in a lock up but not sure you can use it for a week.
If you get stuck I live just outside the city and have room.
Thanks! Yeah we’ve been through a lot and couldn’t think of anywhere. We’re in Morzine for a week and then training to Zermatt so can’t be bothered dragging a bike plus child plus bags etc
I’m in town tomorrow so I’ll have a look at the bike hotel.
As you pick up your bags from the airport - just as you’re about to go though the customs doorway, you’ll find a machine that give 1 hour of free travel on the train.
This would be enough to nip the bike into the city and get back again.

We've used left luggage to leave bikes at the airport, its on the right near the bottom of an escalator as you leave the terminal towards the train station but it was about 10chf for 24hrs in 2013
OP if you want to send me some dates I can ask friends who live nearby, bike would be in their locked garage in a quiet town 15 mins from airport (town has a train station), an option for you perhaps.
With all the phaff have you looked at just hiring a car vs cost of transfers and train ? (Parking not cheap at Tasch for the Zermatt train mind)
been a while but if you leave the airport and head for the trainstaion, there is set of lockers on the left and a left luggage on the right where i have left a bike for a couple of days.

+1 it's a doddle.
The hardest thing is taking the bike box down the escalator. After that it's a breeze.
Nice one, not sure how I missed that. I assumed it was just lockers but will be worth it have my bike with me !
