I'm quite new to .NET and developing some SW which needs graphs, so trying to find a good OS (free) graph package to use. So far I've been playing with ZedGraph, which seems fine for drawing graphs, but the reverse lookup (click on the graph and it returns the nearest point) is pretty hopeless - seems about 20% out or worse.

Anyone got a recommendation for a better Graph package?

For what sort of app?

For forms or wpf the 'free' charting packages are a bit shyte - any good ones want paying for.

It's for a planning tool used by our customers, for plotting radio path profiles:

I want to be able to click on a building and then locate it on the map / Google Earth. Problem is, the locating the click in ZedGraph is pretty random....
