If I buy some GB stickers, there’s a good chance they will be worth a bit in a few years time?
So sounds like there wasn't any point in me keeping the oval GenesisBikes sticker that came free with my Croix de Fer then.
The timing and politics of this are fishy.... but as above Great Britain hasn't been a country since 1800. UK is correct.

A country so up it's own arse it slaps a 'Great' in front of itself*.

I think it was the Romans that coined it, not us, its how they distinguished us from the other, smaller part bit of what they considered Britain - Brittany in France
I believe that to be true - apart from the Romans, which might well be true.
The British were the Celtic tribes of Wales, Cornwall and Bretagne (and before the English arrived parts of what is now England). The Irish were a slightly different bunch, the Scots were actually Irish, most of Scotland was populated by a different bunch again, and the English were Germanic of some description.
