My Edge 1030 and Mac M2 has just stopped playing nicely together. Worked fine for years, worked 2 days ago, now nothing.
OSX is Sequoia 15.7.4 and Garmin Express 7.28.0.0 (newest)
All software on the Mac and Garmin express is up to date. Plugged it into a Windows laptop using the same cables and it connects just fine... syncs updates, the works.
Plugged into the Macbook again. Nada.
Any ideas as all my mapping is on the Mac....
Is your Garmin “mounting” in Finder? Or is it just not responding in Garmin Express and Connect?
I had a problem with the Garmin Connect website not working on Safari, or any other browser for that matter. Tried nearly all of them, then found it worked with Microsoft Edge.
Not appearing in "finder" or appearing on the desktop. Used to do this when plugged in but now, nothing. After a google session, it appears to be Mac and android based devices using an MTP transfer protocol but what was working 1 week ago has just stopped.
Just plugged my Garmin Edge 1030 in to my iMac M1 and all worked as normal.
macOS Tahoe 26.3.1
Garmin Express version 7.28.0.0
Garmin s/w version 13.75
Any reason you are still running Sequoia on your MacBook?

I didn't get Tahoe as I had a series of meetings where I couldn't afford it to not go through smoothly and if I'm honest, I'd read a few reviews suggesting to hang on for a little while. Everything on my Mac was working fine except GoPro imports and the Garmin, so I had put it on the back burner.
It's gone through now and Tahoe 26.3.1 is running so hopefully that helps.
