I'm quite fortunate in that I get to work from home a few days a week. With the weather getting better, I'd like a space to work in the south facing Garden. Problem being is seeing the laptop screen.
I'm planning on building an insulated log cabin office, complete with wood burning stove but that won't be until next year really.
This summer I was thinking of a pergola type structure with a wooden shingle roof.
I'm assuming I'm not the first person here to tackle such a 'problem' - so what have you got?
I built my own. It wasnt difficult really the only things I didnt do myself was connecting the electrics and plastering. I ran and terminated every inch of cabling but my qualified mate stripped back the armoured cable and screwed it in. Also I did every bit of plasterboarding but a professional skimmed it. Hardest bit was digging out for the base.
