Anybody know if there's a similar "Read Word" thingy available?

He was after Word, not Excel.

But yeah, there's viewers for most of the Office suite. OpenOffice is reasonable if you want a free editor, and if you know a schtewdent then you could get a full copy of Office from software4students.co.uk in exchange for a few pints of snakebite & black.

Teachers too, although an upgrade to pimms may be necessary. Also, the 'student' can be any age, so if you have any kids at school, they qualify.
