Waiting in for a survey to check our house can be cavity wall insulated.

Due between 8:30 and 1pm.

A few minutes ago a Transit from home improvement company arrived in the cul de sac, went to house two doors up and then left. So quickly I didn't get shoes on / door open quick enough....

So, have I 'missed' them...? 😕

Nope.

White and green vans here. 😉

Just finished 50 odd houses up your neck of the woods. (Menstrie)

A few years ago we had a knock on the door late one evening. Acording to the guy we were the last house at our end of the village, 18 houses in total who hadnt signed up for the cavity wall insulation.
All the houses are of the same construction built around 1900 for the quarry company. He was gutted when we told him we didnt have a cavity.

Don't you go comparing Menstrie with Dunblane, dahling.

Oh, I wasn't. 😉

It wasn't even the posh end of Menstrie. Very much not.

Course it did.

Company policy is that the staff are always rougher than the residents. 😉

Given that we predominantly work in the social housing sector this isn't always easy to achieve.

Funny you mention that... due to the vertiginous nature of our drive (old railway embankment was deemed good place for houses in 1970's), it is a tad worn. Know anyone who can help?
