Got to hand it to him - he sure did like his coke and hookers! 🙂
Too soon?
I watched an obituary of sorts on BBC morning show today and was astonished that he looked about 70 yo in the late seventies, when I was born. And he's only just died? Seemed like a good chap, but his transgressions were too at odds with his public image for him to get away with it
Compare it to another ostracised sports broadcaster, big Ron, and having a bit of fun with some prossies seems like nowt

Could I make a proposal that from this moment forward, in his honour, the default C&H STW response to all things financial and spare time related should become "a bit of Bough".

Agreed - in the late 70s/ early 80's when as far as I was concerned he was a walking talking pensioner on the tellybox - HE WAS YOUNGER THAN I AM NOW! Looks at self in mirror , has a quick sniff - I might be on the way out (the irony of course being that despite appearances he was living it large, in a dirty dirty way, more than I ever have).
Willing to second the bit of bough proposal!
a bit of Bough
From this day forward I'm using this!
I agree with all of this, I was sure he was about 70 in the 1970's!
Well funny. You see a picture of Frank Bough and he's looks like a person least likely to take cocaine and **** hookers. Do you reckon he had a drug and whore free life up until one morning he got up and went 'right let's get a 50 bag and visit a domnatrix' 😂
I propose the phrase. 'It's all gone a bit Frank Bough' rip Frank 🙏
Was a bit sad to see that episode feature prominently in his obit on BBC Breakfast this morning. He help found the programme, so it spent a third of the package panning over lurid News of the World headlines about his private life.

a commemorative line in franks honour?
A Bit of Bough would be a fitting tribute
I'd love a bit of Bough but I'll probably just settle for a Frank
Maybe Boughy inspired the Govt drug initiative “talk to Frank” ?
I fancy some Bough action, life is dull at the moment.
I'm not sure Frank would be the best person to seek advice from. Unless its where to score from...

I'm not convinced they weren't actually just a little bit proud of it to be honest. I mean, he was a legend on the small screen, and a legend in the way he ended it too. He made Deyton look like a choirboy.
RIP Frank Bough
