Odd on, trying to post images on the tour thread this morning. When I click "IMG" no box appears to enter the pic URL into. Doing this also seems to disable the text box meaning I can't add anything else in there.
This is on 2 PC's with Chrome as the browser, it seems to work on Edge, but then I can't find out how to pull the image URL.
I suspect it's a Chrome browser setting, any ideas which one?

Have you disabled popups? That might be doing it.

Trying direct copy of Imgur's BBCode which is the pattern @wwaswas describes ...

I think it is. I've just hit something similar, it's the pop-up blocker as @whitestone says. For me the URL dialogue appears and then immediately disappears again.

You can disable it per-site. In Chrome go to Settings / Advanced / Site Settings (in the Privacy section). Click the > arrow next to Pop-ups and then Add next to Allow. Enter [*.]singletrackworld.com This fixes it for me at least (though you'll need to refresh any open pages).

I don't know if this is something that's changed with the site or with Chrome. I'll flag it up with Tech just in case it's something at their end.

EDIT: ignore all that. It worked for me once, then fell over again. I've reported it. In the interim you can manually type img and /img tags surrounded by square brackets (and many images don't need the tags at all, the forum works it out).
