I know it's a long shot but does anyone have a room in a B&B or hotel room that they've booked for 10 under the Ben that they're unable to use and would let me have instead? For a reasonable price of course.

Good luck.. Very, very busy in Ft Bill this weekend; 10 at Nevis, SDA at GlenCoe and the West Highland Way Race ultra marathon too.
Bet there won't be many spare beds at the Belford hospital either!

I used this place for Relentless a few years ago (the wife wouldn't camp) and they were exceptionally accommodating and did a lot to make sure I had the right pre race food and so on. Not Fort William, but near by and in a stunning place.

There's a couple of rooms left at the Caledonian Hotel for £50. Check on laterooms.

Not exactly luxurious mind you 🙂

Did you promise to organise the accommodation and forget OP?
Oh dear. Let's hope they're not close friends as they very soon become your ex friends.

No fortunately it's only me without accommodation. I entered and then got my dates mixed up and thought I was away on holiday while 10 under the ben was on but as it turns out I'm not. Only realised this when I got back yesterday though so that's why I'm a bit late in getting the accommodation sorted. If I don't find anything I can always drive up on the morning of the race but don't really fancy the combination of no preparation, early start and jet lag too.

Managed to get a double room at the travel lodge in Fort William thanks to a kind Singletracker. Roll on the weekend!
