Just been to view a Ford Fusion which I assume uses the same engines as the Fiesta.
Its 2003, on 50k, anyone know when the cambelt is due on the 1.6 petrol?
Also, the coolant was quite low but no warning lights, is this engine prone to airlocks or localised overheating if run with low coolant?
Thanks 🙂
bump!
Ford say 100,000 or 10 years.....I would be tempted to do it around 80,000 just to save any panic 😉
Thanks Jamie, where did you find that?
Just about to get myself an '03 Fiesta so been looking into it.
....plus various sources such as this one:

Edit: Oh, it looks like the Fusion is 150,000 or 10 years...blimey!
Give your local Ford garage a ring to confirm tho.
Thats good enough for me Jamie, thanks.
Just the coolant issue now!
