I once overheard a guy introduce himself as Dick Feast.

I thought I must have misheard, but no, there are some people out there actually called that.

Spoke to a Brad Hollywood the other day. He wasn't nearly as cool as his name suggested.

I used to work for a share register, so all the names on share certificates had to be proper names as they are legal documents...

Henry Shaw-Twilley
Chris(topher) P(aul) Bacon
D Forskin
Loads of Richard Heads
4 different people called Johan Sebastian Bach (?)

And the ladies.... (Remember, legal docs so not made up...)

Seema Butt and Mrs (so she's chosen to take this name) Fanny Gash.

When I was a kid I had an American friend called Smedes, not a problem for him as Americans are generally much more accepting of wired names.

used to work for an American company which in it's weekly bulletin published employees with birthdays or employment anniversaries.

There were quite a few good names but the only ones I now remember are Dick Bollock and Sandy Beaver.

A previous neighbour was Mrs Ethel Bethell.
