A device that extracts water from air:
Mainly aimed at people in arid climates and obviously could revolutionise life in certain parts of the world; however here in the affluent secure first world it would also work a treat for off-grid camping or living in our more humid environments. You'd never have to fill up your motorhome!

Yes but no. It works far better than a normal dehumidifier - you can extract useful amounts of water from desert air using nothing but solar power
