We will be in touch
I sponsor a young lad in The Gambia with bits and bobs for his farm
but he is also a keen footballer. He keeps getting injured because
he plays on sandy pitches and his boots he says are rubbish.
Is there a boot designed for playing on this sort of pitch?
I think AG (artificial grass) boots would be best for that surface. But maybe ankle supports too? Depending on what is causing the injuries.
Sandy will mean bumpy I suspect, the boots won't make too much difference sadly. A firm ground pair with very short studs and some ankle supports may be the way forward.
I think I've got some spare astro boots in a 10, if they're any good to you? (Fer free like)
@DezB
Thankyou very much for the offer! I will message the chap and get his size. What sort of tread do they have, short studs?
Not really studs. Ang on i’ll find em and do pic
Ah, how annoying - this is the type of sole I was thinking would be good, but I can only find 1 boot! Must’ve given the other as a dog toy

but! I do have these mouldies, which may be suitable? Obviously would clean em up. Top quality kangeroo leather.. slightly small 10

thanks again. Unfortunately he needs size 41 but if you would still like to sell/donate the pair you have I'm sure someone else in his team would benefit.
Yes, mate - they're no good to me. PM your address and I'll clean them up and send on. 🙂
