He’s behiiiiiind yoooou!!!!
Well, nowhere near you, would be more precise.
Well, we appear to be living happily ever after!
My poor Chelsea supporting relatives
Two losses and a draw? CRISIS AT CHELSEA! 🙂
Man City take themselves out of contention for the title, but no-one apart from Liverpool seems to want to even challenge for it.
Looks like Liverpool’s to lose - the best all round team playing the best football at the moment. Chasing pack is too far behind and not looking capable of winning every match from here on
I think Arsenal are the only serious rivals now, can see them grinding out plenty of 1-0 victories. Also slightly cautious of the Liverpool contract situation for Virgil, Salah and Trent, becoming a distraction.
Would be a slip-up of Gerrard proportions if Liverpool did not sort out two of those three contracts. Not sure why TAA wants to leave for Madrid, can't see him being automatic first pick there.
Well Newcastle should of been 4 or 5 up at half time.
I must admit, at 1 point in the 2nd half I thought Man Utd were going to get back in to it.
The way the home fans treat Zirkzee was absolutely disgusting. They should hang their heads in shame.
This is how they treat one of their own as well.

I have to agree with you that Zirkzee being singled out like that was absolutely disgusting! He had an appalling game, but so did everyone else, as they all have done every week. So boo the lot of the lazy, overpaid bastards off at the end. Don’t single. out individuals.
The present situation isnt his fault. It the inevitable result of 20 years of shambolic, greedy and parasitic absentee ownership that’s rotten to the core! And it then turns out that the guy who was meant ride to the rescue is not just more of the same, he’s actually worse, if that was even thought possible?! The club is ****ed!
So lay the blame where it’s due! Don’t pick on some young lad who’s doubtless out of his depth, but is in a new place and is clearly having a terrible time of it. I was ashamed to be a United fan watching that last night. It was embarrassing!
I’m actually at the point now where I’m half hoping that the previously unthinkable happens and we get relegated. We deserve to be and let’s see what happens without the Premier League TV revenues. Maybe that’s what it’s going to take to sort the club out? Because you keep thinking it can’t get any worse and yet it does.
Maybe the Newcastle fans were right last night singing ‘say hello to Sunderland’. They know enough about terrible owners. We are most definitely in a relegation battle now.
It’s hard to see how they stop the spiral they’re in. They need players who can play in Amorim’s system but the PSR rules and the fact who’s going to want to go there currently and who’ll buy players off them makes it hard to see them signing anyone decent. Amorim needs to swallow his pride and change the formation, and try and get some momentum back. Make them at least harder to beat. I do wonder as well if he’s lost the dressing room, to coin a cliche, already, with his treatment of Rashford and Garnacho? Loves the sound of his own voice too, and his genius formation.
Amorim already knows that he won’t have money for transfers. The (useless) squad he’s got is what he’s saddled with for the duration
He has to sell before he can buy, but who’s going to want the likes of Antony, a supposed 85 million pound player with a 5 year contract on £250,000 a week who’s played less than an hours first team football this season - because he’s shite! - and who’s only goal was against Barnsley in the League Cup? I’ll tell you who… absolutely nobody! Same goes for the rest of the squad to varying degrees. who the hell negotiated these insane transfer fees and ludicrous contracts?
They want 50 million for Rashford and he wants 350 grand a week. Good luck with that! He’s going nowhere!
I’d put my house on there being no clauses in those contracts for a reduction in wages if relegated, so they’ll all still be in half a million a week while losing to Sunderland
As for losing the dressing room. Looks like the players have downed tools already, like they have done with all the previous managers. I’ve lost count of how many now, but it’s the same routine every time
Those players are going nowhere.
They are on massive money and are underachieving.
There's only the EPL Clubs that have any money, most of Europe are completely skint.
Even if someone was stupid enough, the PSR rules would make it impossible.
It's a bizarre situation, he's only been there about 6 weeks, has won 1 league game and that was against Citeh, looks like he "has lost the dressing room".
Are they going to carry on?
What's Ole up to at the moment?
Getting Moyes back wouldn't have been the worst idea in the world.
They're gonna get absolutely rinsed trying to pick up a couple of decent wing backs in the next month or so, it's the golden goose!
Getting Moyes back wouldn’t have been the worst idea in the world.
David "the best manager ever who also played for Shrewsbury town" Moyes is amazing at getting a core of decent players organised and drilled and playing above their level.
But he has shown no real ability to motivate a bunch of glamorous 23 year olds who are richer than god and can't be arsed to try. I couldn't see him succeeding at Utd if he came in now.
There’s only the EPL Clubs that have any money, most of Europe are completely skint.
As a direct comparison with the rest of Europe (and even most EPL clubs), Antony was on 24k a week at Ajax, then moved to United on a 5 year £250k a week contract. Can anyone see anything other than him ‘doing a Phil Jones’ and just seeing out the remaining years of his contract, at vast expense to the club, while never actually playing?
It’s an absolute shitshow! The worst managed club in the world, bar none!
Who can blame him?
Young bloke from the favela's getting £60 million for turning up to training 3 days a week.
Who agreed that deal?
Who agreed that deal?
The question we’ve all been asking ourselves for over a decade. Who extended Phil Jones contract when he hadn’t played for years? Who signed Alexis Sanchez on 400 grand a week? Who let Pogba go on a free then bought him back for 90 million? Who pursued Sancho for years, finally signed him for £75 million then left him sat on the bench until he left on loan to Chelsea? Who made Harry Maguire the most expensive defender in football history? Who thought Hojland was worth 80 million?
The list goes on and on and on…..
Spent the night before last in London with my sister and her aunts supporting husband and sons. (He’s Manc born and bred and they’re his kids, so that’s fine with me.). Talk about depressed. :o)
I worried some months ago that Utd being so utterly shite and shambolic would stop being funny.
It hasn’t.
It’s only going to get funnier for you on Sunday Bravissimo.
I think I’m going to delete all my social media accounts, turn my phone off and watch it in a darkened room after I’ve removed all sharp objects. You’ve got to be looking at the recent 7 nil and thinking you could probably comfortably hit that before half time
I only check in on this thread for Binners' posts. Comedy Gold 🙂
Does irk me somewhat the BBC paying Phil Jones as a pundit - the dude’s played as much football as I have in the last decade! Let’s get Binners signed up for United games commentary.
In other news Plymouth have seen the error of their ways and sacked Rooney. He’s an utterly terrible manager.
Didn't want when he came to Brum, but ok - "we've got him now, let's hope for the best". We were terrible under him, and only ever got worse - to be fair, he got dog's abuse from the home fans from day one, which didn't help. Amazed Plymouth took him on - surely that's his last post at anything higher than Sunday League, until he shows he's learned how to do the job?

I thought he showed some promise at Derby but it seems to have been downhill ever since.
Just checked his stats. 6 EPL appearances in his last 4 years.
Usually as a second half sub when everyone else, including the kit man, is injured. At £150,000 a week I don’t know how many million quid a minute of playing time that works out as, but it’s nice work if you can get it
Listening to his voice punditting now sets me off twitching. God knows what compromising photos of whom he’s got to keep getting the gigs he does

I’m glad to be of service. This thread is just where I come to howl into the void. It’s like therapy
Just heard on the radio that Radcliff got rid of Ferguson's ambassador's role!
Sir Jim seems to be in some kind of competition to make himself even more unpopular than the Glazers. His penny-pinching with staff, stewards and supporters stands in sharp contrast to the ‘pissed sailor on shore leave’ headless chicken profligacy in the transfer market.
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss…
Sir Jim seems to be in some kind of competition to make himself even more unpopular than the Glazers.
I don't much like the bloke anyway but it's amusing how he keeps throwing money in to sports ventures and they all turn to shit, be that the borderline collapse of Team Sky/INEOS Grenadiers in the cycling, the same with Man Utd or the inability of INEOS Britannia to win the America's Cup.
Well before we've all taken our Trump off the Christmas tree Man City have as us traditional, turned back into a stream roller. 5 in a row?
Nah - apparently not a 4-1 today with West Ham missing a host of good chances. I think they’re too far back.
I'm think the Liverpool goalie will also get on the score sheet.
Well, the team who have lost the most points from a winning position have just taken the lead....
Bugger.
It’s a good match this though. Proper end to end stuff.
I expect all the action in the next game will all be taking place in one half of the pitch. I’ve had a bet on Bruno getting himself sent off again. I think he does it on purpose when games are going really badly and this one has the potential to go really, really, really badly

Now you mention it....
Amorins pre-match team talk could involve "You do know even Ipswich are only 4 points behind us..." (Assuming Fulham don't inevitably turn it around)
You just cursed yourself there fella. Never ever vocalise it before the final whistle
Cracking second half that though.
I see perma-angry Roy Keane and fashionista simpleton Daniel Sturridge are the pundits for this. Should be interesting and quite possibly violent. The look of contempt on Roy’s face when Sturridge is spouting utter drivel….
I’ve had a bet on Bruno getting himself sent off again.
WGAS shit what you've bet on; what's written on "The Scourge of the Bookies" slip?
Hoping Utd can do us a favour in the title race today 😉
