Citeh will be mid table at best at this rate

Given how congested the table presently is, once you’re below the top four, there’s quite a few teams could soon overtake them if their form doesn’t improve. If somebody told you at the start of the season Citeh would be where they are at Christmas, after a run of losses like this, you’d have laughed at them.

Jesus must wish he could play Palace twice a week, every week

Doesn’t feel like Palace deserve to be 4-1 down! Jesus should have had all four.

The Bournmouth fans are singing 'can we play you every week?'

I'm not surprised. At least we're consistent. Consistently shite and getting battered at home once again by Bournmouth.

I think someones realising what a squad of absolute donkey's he's been saddled with. Short of giving them all away to anyone who'll have 'em - maybe a French second division side - and starting from scratch again, it really is difficult to see how anyone could get a decent performance out of this gang of overpaid clowns

Well that was absolutely nuts! We were talking before kick off and saying how you’d have to be mad to predict a scoreline for this one. Bonkers!

Unfortunately, for a United fan with lots of scouse mates, Liverpool look they’ve got a title-winning momentum going

I reckon if we played ourselves every week we'd still lose. 3rd goal went in, half the crowd went out...

Abysmal.

Well done Bournemouth.

We’ve a squad with nobody who could hit water if they fell out of a boat. Woeful!

I caught myself almost feeling sorry for United today. The players were already struggling with ETHs ‘system’ with confidence rock bottom and then some PR savvy bloke from the 6th or 7th best league in Europe rocks up with a fancy system, alien to most, and changes the team constantly. There’s gonna be teething problems, to put it mildly.

Meanwhile the toon have just figured out the Tonali/Guimaraes problem, Alexander Isak has just hit top form and we’re looking scarily good again after half a season of Jekyll and Hyde football. Roll on Monday 🙂

Bradford Vs Port Vale in the khazi league today, could be a drubbing for Bradford. Questioning my sanity going today after watching them completely capitulate to Notts County last weekend! Gets me out of making tea I guess 🙂

Great start to the second half by United. Another absolutely  stupid red for Bruno and that’s him and Ugarte suspended for the Newcastle game on Monday, where we’ll no doubt get absolutely mullered

Looks like Amorim fancies ending his first season in the Premier League with a relegation battle.

Toothless up front, dodgy at the back, pedestrian midfield and an erratic goalie. Ace.

It’s truly staggering the disconnect between the huge transfer fees and salaries these players commanded and they’re absolutely pitiful on-pitch displays, week after week. They honestly look like relegation fodder

It goes without saying that my darling wife is enjoying this and counting down to her winnings

Living in house with 3 city and 1 utd fan, I've thoroughly enjoyed the football today. Chelsea dropped points and now Leicester are a goal up, this Forest fan is enjoying watching football again. It's only taken 20years 🙂

So how long does Amorim get before he gets the same flak Ange gets for refusing to adapt and change the system. Clearly the players are struggling with his 3-4-3. Looks like he needs many, many players to play the way he wants and I can’t see who’d go there. Sporting have sacked his predecessor…….

All the wise heads have said he needs at least 2 transfer windows to get players he needs, which sounds a minimum.

Anyway, has MrsBinners put a tenner on Ipswich to get their second win away in the capital?

She did more than alright yesterday. She had Fulham to win at Stamford Bridge too and Everton to draw at Citeh

So how long does Amorim get before he gets the same flak Ange gets for refusing to adapt and change the system

The problems at United are now so terminally entrained, where do you even start? The Club is a total shambles and ALL the players are third-rate and lazy. There was a brief glimmer of hope that the new ‘owners’ might change things, but it’s now obvious it’s just more of the same. They should have sacked TH in the summer, but instead they gave him another few hundred million to spend on more utter dross for crazy money on ludicrous contracts.

Our next three fixtures are Newcastle at home then Liverpool and Arsenal away, so that’s 3 guaranteed losses and probably 3 absolute humpings. And depending on how results go for those few teams below us, we could well be in a relegation scrap in 2 weeks time

They've spent a billion quid on a squad that is so appalling that will (thoroughly deservedly) be fighting relegation. Amorim is just the next sacrificial lamb. Rinse and repeat

Oh that we could always just  choose which game we wanted to watch and just watch it.

The present farcical situation where big games aren’t televised in the UK but can be seen anywhere else in the world is just ludicrous.

It's enlightening to have only one UTD fan on this site, last night I was out with dozens of them. None of them could name a single street in Manchester. Their faux distress makes me chortle.

Not even Coronation Street?!

To be fair I can only remember a hand ful of street names in Nottingham. I may use Upper and Lower to achieve two of them, along with the road I lived on and where Des Walker lived in the 80s.

I’ve had a couple of people ask if I fancy tickets for the Newcastle game on Monday as they’ve suddenly found more pressing things to be doing.

Erm… no thanks. Even at way below face value. And Sir Jim now wants everyone to pay a minimum of 70 quid a pop to watch this shite. I think that when it’s season ticket renewal time (and the planted rumours that we’re about to sign Mbappe start circulating) he’s going to have far few takers

The sooner the EPL set up their own streaming service the better.

Although the money generated will be massive, which will cause a few issues.

Two of my mates in Tod have season tickets and they don’t even bother turning up any more. I wouldn’t either.

I suppose it’s a perfect example of the hubris of billionaires like Ratcliffe. It’s almost like running a football club is nothing like a petrochemical business.

I was worried that the new Utd manager might bring a change of fortune.

Fortunately Utd have bought him down to their level.

In other news Rooney might be free soon, now Plymouth have hit rock bottom after he lost 4-0 to a team managed by Frank Lampard.

@Binners - Well at least you can have a reversal of current form this evening. Newcastle never win at Old Trafford.

For some reason, Man United always turn into a powerhouse against us.

Then Spurs will sort themselves out next week and we will be back mid table.

@gobuchul - I wouldn’t worry. I can’t see anything else other than us getting an absolute battering tonight, which should be a nice dress rehearsal for the absolute shoeings we’re going to take at Liverpool and Arsenal next.

We’ll get nil point from the next 3 games and probably another 10+ GA added to our already shocking goal difference. Given the results from teams below us we could be in 16th or 17th by then and well and truly in a relegation scrap

Bruno is suspended for tonight and he’s the only player we’ve got who isn’t absolutely hopeless.

I may stick a couple of quid on an Isak hatrick. He must be rubbing his hands with glee, looking at our static defence. Just imagine what Salah is going to do on Sunday? I don’t even want to think about it.

Really entertaining game at Wrexham yesterday and Wigan were unlucky not to get at least a point, the difference being we had 37 year old Stephen Fletcher to bring on and win it for us in injury time.  There's not much between the top 16 sides in EFL 1 apart from Birmingham who I think will pull away in 2025.  The second automatic will be a right old ding-dong but we have to improve our away form having played 13 at home W11D2L0 against 10 away W3D4L3.

Newcastle 2 up after 20 minutes. If they keep pushing, it could easily be 5 before half time.
this quote from Gary Neville sums it up “Casemiro and Eriksen are like mannequins, they shouldn't be playing together in the Premier League"

First live game I've watched this Chrimbo and I think it will take Ruben Amorim 11 transfer windows to overhaul this team.

When I saw the team sheet before the match with those two next to each other, my exact words were ‘**** me, you may as well stick 2 statues in midfield’.

Newcastle should be 4 or 5 up already. I’m just wondering what Gakpo, Salah and Diaz are going to do to this static midfield and defence on Sunday. They must surely believe they can get into double figures
