[Closed] Following on........using usb sticks in cars

Now got a pioneer headunit in my audio,but although I have about 400 songs on a micro stick,it only plays 25, it will play all on my laptop,any ideas?

Are they all the same format, bitrate, etc.?

Check your file and folder structure is compatible. Some don't like lots of nested folders etc

Check with Pioneer- seems likely to be a limitation of their hardware. This sort of add-on is quite often implemented badly, though to be fair Pioneer are usually decent. (frinstance, my Kenwood plays from USB absolutely fine, if it plays- but it doesn't recognise quite a lot of my devices)

Will it connect to other devices via USB? I'd be trying different sticks
