What’s life like for one of these people, hated for trying to be mildly entertaining and/or informative?

It's the singletrack way.

David Attenborough

This must be a joke…..?

Made somehwat of a tit of himself by getting up on stage and saying everyone at Glasto was saving the world by not using plastic bottles.

Without taking into account all the other crap they left including single use tents.

And, Terry Wogan? Shame!

I don't understand many of these answers - lots of them are far from 'inexplicably irritating' the irritation is clearly explicable. And things like Loose Women don't bother me. I simply don't ever watch them.

Gabby Roslin though! She's irritating! And often on programmes I want to watch.

So, the rules didnt last then….

The rules were intrinsically paradoxical. Subjective subjects cannot be subjectively evaluated as objective subjects.

Or something similar. I am tired (and irritating).

Terry Wogan? I can see the basis, I used to have him on my list "back in the day" but in later years saw a different dimension and ended up liking him. I thought he was the best (only good?) guest presenter in the latter, barrel-scraping days of Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and also thought he got the level of piss-takery bang on with this Eurovision hosting. More recently Graham Norton has shown just how hard it is to pitch it in the sweet spot when it's oh so easy to cross the line into mean-spiritied snark.

Oh, another one for my list: Graham Norton.

And, opposite to Wogan, someone I used to enjoy but in more recent times have perceived an ever diminishing level of talent: Noel Fielding. Probably always the case that he was carried by the talents of others on Mighty Boosh, since he's managed nowt good since.

Stuff your rules!

This gonk. Started the whole Schleb for being a schleb media we all know and hate.

Thankfully, has been cast aside to those channels with 3 digits that no-one ventures near.

Pinkster, you haven't correctly remembered her name, she likes to refer to herself in the third person, "The GC". For that, I'll add

Gemma Collins.

George Clarke

Can't figure out if he's just not a great presenter, or if amazing spaces is just a rubbish program.

1/3'rd my wife hates me so I built a shed or "man cave" pub/cinema shed at the end of the garden
1/3'rd pop-up street-food gin-bar hyphen-ated horse-box, land-rover, milk-float, shi-te
1/3'rd Aspirational holiday homes

And his projects are just rubbish, WTF wants a rotating house that fits the floor space of two story house, onto the plot area of a two storey house, but has to be turned upside down to get to the bedroom because you forgot stairs had been invented?

So rather than George Clarke, I'm going to nominate the Excec Producers of Amazing Spaces, and George Clarke.

All this George Clark talk reminds me that on Tuesday night this week at the 40th anniversary Viz comic show at The Stand Newcastle with Chris and Simon Donald and a couple of the other cartoonists, Mr Clark was in attendance. As was I. Though not with him.

Hmmm hard to put a single name to a medium which exposes us to so many wastes of space tbh.

Michael MacIntyre

Was watching some old Kenny Everett and realising how talented he was compared to the current crop.
