You don't have to return on the same airline you fly out on so as long as BA and Easyjet do the flights then there is no reason not to. It does depend on what airport you are flying from and returning too though.

Generally even BA no longer make you pay extra for just a one way ticket. It's easy to check the pricing online on the websites one-way vs return

With the budget airlines, they will often do cheap one way, and expensive return, trying to make the outward journey look like a bargain, just expecting everyone to select a return as well. So it can often work out cheaper to fly out with easyjet or ryanair, then return on ba or Lufthansa.

Yes I'm flying to Munich in two weeks time. Out with Easyjet and back with BA.

I'm not an expert but would the fare with Easyjet (or who ever) be cheaper if you booked it via the airlines local website rather than via their UK site. I.e in UK but book flight their German website.

I get good results with Opodo.
I flew to vienna with Brussels air (never again useless shower of ......) and flew back today with Lufthansa (excellent as always)

Ryanair flights can be cheaper if booked from Europe as they charge their extras in Euros not Pounds (same amount)
