Hi folks, bit leftfield, but anyone on here able to recommend a Flaine based ski instructor? My lad is there in a week or so, and wants someone to film him for his GCSE sport science. I'm not on the trip so can't do it for him.

Thanks

S

We've used ESI in Samoens a few times and found thewm to be really good.

Obviously Samoens is not Flaine but it's all Grand Massif area.

360 Ski School in Samoens - Nicolai (I think) had me doing 360's very quickly. Worth skiing over for I think.

Ask on Snowheads. Lots in the Grand Massif in there.

Thanks folks,
DTs, had asked on Snowheads too - feedback better on here.
Not familiar with Grand Massif, is Samoens relatively close to Flaine (eg Tignes to VdI close?)
Cheers

Not particularly close, a couple of lifts if I remember right. A longer drive than a ski.

We're out in Flaine at the moment......

Serge Cornillat is a private instructor, if your son is a good skier and wants to have an entertaining lesson then it's never a dull moment with Serge (emphasis is on fun with Serge). Lynne Stainbrook is an american who has been teaching in Flaine for decades (all round skiing). Or there Bruno Uyttenhove who works out of the Blackside ski shop (more off piste focussed)

Ski with Catherine and Nicholas specialises in children's lessons and I've heard really good things about them.

If you would like to know anything more then please email- We're here until Sunday

Actually, Serge's company is Flaine ski masterclass and he's done some videos for his son who is a chip of the old block.....
