[Closed] Flac players and DAC amps

My current set up is a Fiio X1 Flac player and a Fiio A3 headphone amp

Its 5 years old and getting a bit long in the tooth and a little battered now (been dropped a couple of times)

So Ive decided to replace it with something newer, budget is £150-£200 max to buy both

So far im swinging towards a FiiO M3 Pro player

I'm only interested in these kind of set ups so no alternative mp3 player suggestions please

So any recommendations for other brands, set ups i should look at?

While I have more than enough storage on my phone for my entire music collection at 320kb, I’ve often toyed with the idea of a stand-alone music player, but always been put off by the poor amount of storage; at less than £90 and up to 2Tb of storage one of these might be a little pressy from Santa to myself for being a good boy this year. 😁

Excuse my ignorance but why does the amp have a dac?

Surely the output from the dap's 3.5mm jack is analogue.

Is there also a digital out from the dap?
