We've got a fitted dishwasher in the kitchen with a fascia panel to match the other cupboards, and the door handle has come loose.
I know how to tighten the handle - it'll be just the same as the cupboard ones I'm pretty sure - but how do I access the back of the door. There's about a dozen screws on the inside of the dishwasher door, short of undoing them all and having the whole d/washer fall apart any way of telling which hold the door on?
I know there are a few folks on here have fitted / do fit kitchens so looking for the insider view pls!
It's a Bosch d/w if that makes any difference.
Can you look from the edge, through the gap between panel and dishwasher to see where they go through? On ours the woodscrews in to the cupboard door are obviously different (the dishwasher ones are torx looking things).
It's possible that there are only two screws holding the fascia onto the door. These will be at the top. The bottom will be held on by a couple of clips which are screwed onto the inside of the fascia panel. You can only get to these once the fascia is removed.
So - look for two screws at the top of the door.
Remove these.
The fascia panel will likely fall towards you as you remove these (as the door will be slightly open) - catch it.
Slide the panel upwards to un-hitch the bottom clips.
no obvious different ones so I went for Druidh's suggestion and he was spot on (except there were 2 down the side as well, but that became clear once the top corners were undone)
Job done, brownie points banked, cheers all.
