I've been doing a lot of wood sanding and painting recently, and for about the last week, the fingerprint reader on my smartphone has refused to recognise my mildly abraded digit, leaving me having to enter my security pattern manually to unlock it.

SUCH a chore...

Tell me your First World Problems.

Easiest way to get them is to just look at the thread titles as 99% of them are first world problems. Nothing wrong with that, when you live in the first world most of your problems are going to be first world.

I feel your pain.

I chopped the top of my right thumb off setting a brake calliper, I kept forgetting that it was bandaged when trying to open my phone. I also forgot that I could use my other thumb, or indeed 4 other fingers.

It’s now healed OK but it’s slightly different than before and doesn’t always work.
