People just won’t f___g grow up.

“Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional” Which is why I neither act nor dress my age; at least one member of my archery club, who’s significantly younger than me, refuses to believe how old I actually am. Which is gratifying. However, anyone telling me that, on some hypothetical group outing everyone has to wear identical tee shirts with some stupid motto or some other shitty design would be given a coloured marker and go out and pick the corner of the patio they’d like to be buried under and mark the slabs accordingly. The only thing worse is adults wearing matching fleeces with wolves or dreamcatchers woven in.

As for cruises, the majority are things of epic horror, a city-sized Petri dish full up with human test subjects being used to develop ever more sophisticated forms of novel bio weapons.
There are, however, some exceptions, like the ones that Hurtigruten run up the Norwegian coast, which I’m giving serious consideration to.

It's taken Mrs i853 20 years to wear me down, I now reluctantly wear an AC/DC Christmas jumper.

We help out with a puppy socialization class which involves exposing adorable 2-6 month old puppers to an avalanche of weird s****.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion... I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. I've dressed up in an inflatable parrot costume and chased sprocker spaniel puppies around a village hall. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain...

I used spend a lot of time in Nassau. Cruise boats would always be in as Ft. Lauderdale was just a few hours away.

Disney always had lots of boats in and out but the interesting thing was some were “no kids”. Those boats had happy smiling people coming off. The other ones, not so much…

Matt - did you see the t-rex racing on the telly? The competitor who won literally threw himself over the line, in a dive any premier league goalie would be proud of, t'was hilarious.

@cougar apparently they took offence to staff referring to it in that way so they took to calling it Duckau instead.

I find both of those names massively offensive.
