Anyone done one? Did it help/work?
Op, I’m doing the EasyJet one at the end of March. I’ve been told that of all the courses is the best and strongest as its over two days, so the wave of euphoric expectation has gone overnight from the 1st days “mind techniques” course and you can decide whether to fly yourself on day 2 which is more empowering.
In answer to your question I did BA’s about 10 years ago but it didn’t work for me as it focused on the technical aspects - noise, aircraft etc which does not concern me but it has changed now. My issues are “what if” for turbulence btw.
"What if" for turbulence?
Well, I spilt half a glass of a jolly good Chablis on a slightly bumpy flight to Dallas recently. A terrible state of affairs, I think you'll agree. (That s about the worst thing that's happened to me from turbulence in many years of frequent flying!)
Joking aside, I've heard good things about the BA course recently, but that SleazyJet one sounds a very good idea. Also, as on other threads, well worth talking to pilots, several on here, and even us frequent flying sadsacks maybe!
“What if” for turbulence. Wear your seat belt. The plane is built to withstand it. The pilots have weather radar and info from other planes to help avoid it.
OP my daughter did the BA one, she said it was helpful rather than a “cure” as such
My issues are “what if” for turbulence btw.
When returning from Oz hearts ago we hit some turbulence. The Malaysian girl in my right had her nails dig into the armrest. The Malaysian girl in my left literally hit the ceiling!
I was high and found it hilarious.
@ alpin - wow, I'll bet your empathy overwhelmed her
