I might have even done a cheeky edit ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have we done Mr Oizo - Flat Beat from the Levis ad, that was awesome.

Guns of brixton - The clash

Only if you want 20 different correct answers as the bass line is a classic reggae rift used by many Reggae artists and a fair few pop including Beats International, Dub be good to me.

For The Stranglers, Peaches, surely?

jefferson Airplanes White rabbit is a classic and pretty well known and recognisable

The bass solo in 'Call Me Al', Paul Simon? About 2 seconds long but distinctive.

What bigjim said.

How about Dave Clarke / Red 2 or Jeff Mills / The Bells - always sounded amazing on a big, bassy systems. Or even a cheeky bit of Lochi ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for all the suggestions - some great ones in there.

Would like some newer ones though as it's for an Office quiz so be a bit unfair if it's just older stuff. Looking for stuff post 2005 please.

I guess some people didn't read this!

Been asked to do a round for a quiz, 'Guess the bassline'

Need some ideas for recognisable basslines from any genre/age to get a good balance for oldies and younguns.

So, Lifer - what'cha choosing for the quiz?

Still deciding! It's the newer ones that are more difficult to choose but probably

Come Together - Beatles
Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
Bille Jean - MJ
Under Pressure - Queen
Block Rocking Beats - Chemical Brothers
Seven Nation Army - White Stripes

Need six more, got a lot of maybes at the moment.

TBH I was expecting a bit of 'mission creep' but ta for reposting that Dez!
