Any good family campsites in Denmark? Not something incredibly remote, but we'd want bike rides, walking and wild swimming. Be nice to be near some foodie places too. Don't mind hiring a car for onward journey to Legoland. One night in the Legoland hotel then home.

How are you getting there if you're camping but need to hire a car?
I spend a few weeks in DK a year visiting the inlaws, mainly around the Sønderborg area and Ribe, hoping to explore the country a bit more as there isn't too much around here apart from Danfoss Universe which us an excellent educational themepark.

the west coast from Esbjerg and North is full of campsites.
This website got lots of info about bike routes

this is a nice location right by the beach

Probably one of the better beaches due to lack of strong current compared to lots of other stretches of the coast
