[Closed] Exercises for damaged hand?

Hi Chaps,

I managed to smash my hand pretty badly with a rock riding in Spain a few weeks ago.

I've had two sets of x-rays and it's not broken, but it is painful still.

It's blunt force trauma to the back of the hand, the carpal bone area.

I've got a doctor's appointment in 4 weeks (!), but in the meantime - has anyone had similar injury, and have any exercises they did to help it recover? Or was it just RICE?

Cheers!

Ricks

Can you self refer to an NHS physio?

What's the Dr going to tell you that you don't already know?

Cancel the Dr's appointment unless you plan on crashing in 3 1/2 weeks time 🙂

If it's still bad in a week then maybe seek more urgent help!!

Failing that physio might be a help but probably not unless there is some actual damage to work on
