I'm guessing that the population of STW isn't representative of the general population, but, how much exercise do you do a week?

Like, how many hours and what?

No, it's full of middle aged, overweight, desk jockeys 😉

about 5-6 hours a week almost all of it on a bike, in my case.

I'm hoping for around 16 hours this week. All but one on the bike, but normally it'll be 3 hours running and the rest on the bike. Can't run at the moment because my foot is chuffed.

Typical week for me;

Monday; Gym for core, strength and flexibility
Tuesday; Tubro - HIIT
Wednesday - Gym - same as Monday.
Thurday - Road ride concentrating on power and strength
Friday - Rest day
Saturday - Club ride - 2hrs gentle
Sunday - Race CX of long base level ride with club - 4 hours plus.

Also commute to work on a single speed.

Can vary depending on commitments.

Not a lot.
About 3.5-4 hours of cycle commuting (which may or may not count as exercise depending on your perspective)
About 3 hours of running a week averaged over the year.

Depends how fit I am?

I ride for fun and keep fit in order to ride, so the fitter I am the more groups I can ride with (medium evening MTB group, fast evening MTB group, Sunday roadies), so if i'm feeling unfit I'll only be out on the normal evening ride and maybe some solo stuff. If I'm on form then that's 8 hours or more just of group riding!

On top of that maybe 2 hours at the pool (guessing here, it's a spa so easy to kill several evenings there and not actualy swim!). And gym sessions tend to be on the 'efficient' side. Warm up, 20min weight session then head for the spa, I see no benifit in anything else (i.e. cardio machines).

Stretching/flexibility routines I usualy do after excercise or before bed.

Plus commuting.

But like I said it depends on my mood/fitness, this week I've commuted once, two night rides, one gym session and might go out on Sunday, so nine hours in total. Last month there was a fortnight with nothign at all!
