No - all real stuff apparently - he gets an assistant to paint him. As Tribal says, some executed better than others but I do think it is quite clever. And he only did it because authorities kicked him out of his studio because 'it didn't want artists gathering and working together'. So he 'hid' himself in the open as art. 🙂

Clever maybe, art maybe, gimmicky definitley.

I've followed his work for a while and think he is great.
This is my favourite one of his called,
"Brighton Beach".
